Band
History:
Intervention is a thrash metal band from the northern Finland. It was formed in the summer 2007 by some friends who played together in a Megadeth cover band but had this urge to wrote songs of their own. All the members have a background in other bands so the things kept going on quite nicely. The band is influenced by various thrash metal bands like Megadeth, Testament and so on.
The first demo saw the daylight in the Spring 2009 and soon after that the band started yearning for live shows. Soon enough the first gigs were booked and the wheels just keep turning and turning.
The latest release, Words of Violence - promo 01/2010, came out in January 2010, in which Intervention shows its current state with powerful and aggressive thrash metal.
